Focus on Community 2009

InFocus Small Business Strategies announced its first Focus on Community, a program designed to give back to the community in a creative and meaningful way, in January 2009.

Three other businesses partnered with InFocus on this project: Chad Allan Consulting for website development, hype, LLC, for graphic design, and WarnerTech.Net for website hosting.

Alternative Paths, Inc., a Medina nonprofit community mental health agency, was selected as the recipient following a review of more than twenty applications from area nonprofits. The new website will include links to vital resources, agency forms, requests for services, and important informational documents.

Gail Carmon, CEO of Alternative Paths, received the call that her organization had been chosen from among more than twenty proposed projects. “The staff and I were thrilled to learn that we had been chosen for the Focus on Community Project as we have needed to re-design our website for a very long time,” said Carmon. “We greatly appreciate the time and talents of the professionals who will be helping us build a website which will allow us to educate and interact with people who are in need of our services."
